Sepultados

The project consists of a series of large-format photographs, typical of advertising and commercial communication.
They reflect a process, the steps of an action. Throughout the photographs we see how the naked body of a person is being buried under clothing to disappear physically and conceptually, constituting a metaphor for alienation as a result of consumerism, materialism, sexism of patriarchal society where the consumer buys concepts abstract materialized on clothing and other objects, and when to go to fashion is no longer a trend and build our identities, ideals, gender stereotypes and minds.
Humans, since we are children, play to create identities from particular attributes. Fashion perpetuates the same play of fictional personalities in adults and enslave us if we are not aware of their language and the hierarchical relationship that it proposes.
